
Last updated on December 3, 2019 Hello Prospectors, Release 7 arrives today, all guns blazing! We have a lot of weapon balancing and adjustments for you, as well as some additional quality of life improvements and fixes. Dev Comment: This round we’ve made some range tweaks. The effective range of all weapons now more logically follows their function. For example, SMGs like the Flechette will be more effective at close to medium range, while the DMG fall-off outside of these ranges will be steep. So now there is more strategy around your engagement ranges. We also changed some values around the game’s tempo – things like equipping/unequipping weapons, strafing speeds, vehicle boost duration, and sprint out times. We also wanted to tailor the experience further by reducing the weapon assignments in the Gear Store. Finally, there have also been quite a few updates to our guns, abilities, and kits as a whole. Check it out! All the weapons will have a reduced unequip time of 0.3s, the heavy weapons will be 0.4s. The equip time is adjusted per weapon. Dev Comment: We are testing this feature and would love to hear some feedback about it, as it is likely that there will be further adjustments to it. Please remember: Even though we are now in Early Access and Season One has started, the game is still in development. This means that bugs and crashes are to be expected. If you find any issues during your session, please don’t hesitate to report it using the bug reporter tool in-game. Please also keep in mind that queue times, especially late in the night might be longer than expected due to lower player count around these times.
