RELEASE #7.1

Hello Prospectors, after Release 7 we promised to continue to adjust the weapons. Furthermore, we have a bunch of bugfixes and improvements for you. We also handed out the «Tipsy Drone» Banner reward for participating in the Map 2 playtest, thanks again for helping us with your feedback!

 

WHAT IS IN RELEASE #7.1?

 

WEAPON BALANCING

  • Kor-47
    • Refire rate decreased from 0.14s to 0.12s
    • Lowered recoil when in ADS
  • K-28 Autopistol
    • Lowered recoil when crouched and in ADS
  • Scarab
    • Lowered recoil when crouched and in ADS
  • Hammer
    • Lowered recoil when in ADS
  • Basilisk
    • Damage fall-off removed
  • Voltaic Brute
    • Increased movement speed multiplier from 0.9 to 1
    • Damage fall-off multiplier reduced from 1.5 to 0.21
  • Scrapper
    • Increased movement speed multiplier from 0.95 to 1
    • Increased damage from 33 to 38
    • Reduced weak spot multiplier from 1.5 to 1.3
    • Damage fall-off range start increased from 750 to 1000
    • Damage fall-off multiplier increased from 0.17 to 0.27
  • Karma-1
    • The Splinter
      • Removes 1 ammo from clip
  • Manticore
    • Reduced weak spot multiplier from 1.75 to 1.5
    • Spread decreases slower and increases faster
  • Zeus Beam
    • Reduced damage from 70 to 55
    • Damage fall-off range changed from 5500-9999 to 3500 — 8000
  • S-76 PDW
    • Increased base damage from 28 to 32
    • Decreased weak spot multiplier from 1.5 to 1.3
    • Damage fall-off range start increased from 1000 to 1500
    • Damage fall-off multiplier increased from 0.157 to 0.32
  • ASP Flechette 
    • Increased base damage from 30 to 35
    • Decreased weak spot multiplier from 1.5 to 1.3
  • C-32 Bolt Action
    • Decreased damage from 260 to 224
      • Hollowpoint rounds
        • Removes 1 ammo from clip
  • Bulldog
    • Damage fall-off range increased from 750 — 2000 to 1000-3000
      • Slug rounds
        • Range increased from 1.2 to 2
        • Spread decreases and increases slower
  • Maelstrom
    • Damage fall-off range start increased from 500 to 1000
  • Shattergun
    • Damage fall-off range start increased from 500 to 1000

ABILITY BALANCING

  • Turret
    • Decreased Turret cap from 4 to 2
  • Adrenaline Shot
    • Can now be used in DBNO

KIT BALANCING

  • Basic kit
    • Removed the Directional Scanner

VISUAL & MISC

  • The Bombardier received his new Mesh and looks now as stylish as the rest of his kind
  • The starting weapons received a visual upgrade
  • The map can be accessed again when in the drop pod

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

  • Challenges that were deactivated are invisible now
  • We fixed the faction reputation progress bar not animating and showing its amount correctly
  • Performance improvements to reduce hitches
  • The visual bug that you can see the world in a weird angle at the start of a match has been fixed
  • If you change your kit in the lobby it will now properly update for your match
  • Jetpack Charge Attack bug has been fixed
  • The Nav-mode overlay overlap has been fixed
  • An EVAC icon has been added to the HUD to give better directions when it is there
  • Small performance improvements for low spec machines
  • We increased the Daily & Weekly Challenge XP

KNOWN ISSUES

  • If your name contains special characters it is not shown properly.
  • Items still lose their upgrades when dropped, we’re working to remedy this in the future!
  • When you die in a duo or squad match your team rank will not change until all of the players have either escaped or get foamed. We know that this can cause confusion but the rank shown at the end of the match will be the correct one.
  • If you are using a controller, please note: There is no full controller support, yet.
  • Revitalizer can only be upgraded by one level in the Gear Store despite saying that level two is available.

Please remember: Even though we are now in Early Access and Season One has started, the game is still in development. This means that bugs and crashes are to be expected.

If you find any issues during your session, please don’t hesitate to report it using the bug reporter tool in-game.

Please also keep in mind that queue times, especially late in the night might be longer than expected due to lower player count around these times.
