RELEASE 23

THE MIRACLE OVER NEPTUNE IS OVER

The special challenge and rewards have been over since the start of the week and we’re not taking care of what remains:

  • Snow will be removed from Fortuna III – the sun is back to shine!
  • Prospect Station will be back to its good old self.
  • The special event weapons and abilities will be removed as well.

If you’re reading this before the update, you have a few hours left to enjoy one last festive train ride or take one last selfie with the snowman in Prospect Station!

SEASON 3.5 CHALLENGES

Following the release of Season 3.5 and its 50 new Fortuna Pass levels, several of you have pointed out they were having a really hard time farming season XP since they had already completed all of their challenges.

As a response, we’ve been working on a brand new set of challenges to go with the update. These will be sure to keep you busy and give you nice chunks of XP for your Fortuna Pass! These challenges include:

  • New difficulty tiers for already existing challenges.
  • New variations of current challenges.
  • New challenge ideas altogether.

Some of them will be pretty tough to complete but they’ll come with a noticeable XP reward, so be sure to check them out!

BUGFIXES

  • Brightcaps are reintroduced into the Fortuna III flora and should be fully working as intended.
  • Career stats are back and running! Do note that Squad mode stats will remain disabled for the time being and should be back in the following update.
  • Fixed some issues with server access.
  • Fixed an issue when previewing the Veteran’s head variations in the shop.
  • Performances should see some improvements with today’s update.
  • Various text and localization fixes.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • There’s currently an ongoing issue when using the Dragonfly suit. This is being looked into and should be fixed in a future update.
  • The timer on the end of match screen can get stuck and the game won’t automatically return to Prospect Station. Please use the “Go to station” button from the escape menu if it happens.
  • Voice chat will not work in the lobby when using the open microphone setting. Push-to-talk will work just fine.
  • Some players might experience issues with their mods on certain weapons and suits (k28, dragonfly)
  • In certain conditions, the Ride boost can break.
  • Some killing challenges can still be completed by using the wrong weapon. Fix coming soon.

 

Please remember:

We are still in Early Access even though Season Three has started. The game is still in development. This means that bugs and crashes are to be expected.

Please also keep in mind that queue times, especially late in the night might be longer than expected due to a lower player count around these times.
