Hey Prospectors!

Season 3 has been around for a while and we are now ready to tackle the next step that is Release 18. Time for some more balancing and fixes!



  • Aani Quicksuit
    • Reduced charge energy regeneration by 70%.
    • Charge energy will now start regenerating without delay after a slide.
    • Sliding will not consume a charge anymore.
    • The charge will now be consumed when leaping forward out of a slide.


  • General
    • Projectile speed has been added to all remaining weapons. From now on the only “hit-scan” weapons are going to be beam weapons (namely the Gorgon and the Zeus Beam).
      • As a result, fall-off damage has been reintroduced for beam weapons.
      • New visual effects have been added for projectiles from energy weapons.
    • Going into ADS doesn’t lower the set sensitivity anymore.
  • Mods
    • All the Chain Reaction mods have been removed. We believe the mod wouldn’t make sense with projectiles and don’t want weapons to be used entirely because of one mod.
      • We are considering new kinds of weapons for the future instead.
    • Adjusted mod descriptions to reflect the current state of the game.
  • Scarab
    • Removed Chain Reaction (Mod).
    • Added Anti-Personnel Wavelengths (Mod).
      • Increases damage against players by 5%.
  • Basilisk
    • Removed Chain Reaction (Mod).
    • Added Anti-Xeno Calibration (Mod).
      • Increases damage against monsters by 10%.
  • ICA Guarantee
    • Removed Chain Reaction (Mod).
    • Added Anti-Xeno Calibration (Mod).
      • Increases damage against monsters by 10%.
  • PKR Maelstrom
    • Removed Chain Reaction (Mod).
    • Added Anti-Xeno Calibration (Mod).
      • Increases damage against monsters by 10%.
  • Manticore
    • Increased In-Air Inaccuracy to be more in line with other Assault Rifles.
  • Phasic Lancer
    • Removed Chain Reaction (Mod).
    • Added Anti-Personnel Wavelengths (Mod).
      • Increases damage against players by 5%.
    • High Frequency Emitter (Mod):
      • The mod does not reduce burst interval anymore but reduces re-fire time.
        • This means the mod used to reduce the delay before every shot of a single burst. It will now reduce the delay between each burst instead.
  • Voltaic Brute
    • Removed Barrel Coils (Mod).
    • Added Light Alloy Body (Mod).
      • Increases ADS Speed.
  • Gorgon
    • Adjusted recoil.
    • Reduced direct damage from 12 to 10.
    • Re-added fall-off damage.
      • Damage will be reduced by 30% between 50 to 80 meters.
    • Removed Flash Modulator (Mod).
    • Added Streamlined Core Port (Mod).
      • Increases reloading speed.
  • Zeus Beam
    • Re-added fall-off damage.
      • Damage will be reduced by 30% between 60 to 90 meters.


  • Health Boost (-> Shield Charger)
    • The ability will now be called Shield Charger.
    • Removed all health restoration but added 200 shield restoration.
  • Directional Warp
    • Added a visual trail effect to show which direction the user traveled towards.
  • Triage Sphere
    • Improved visibility by changing the visual effect from an actual sphere to a cylinder area indicator. No, we’re not calling it the Triage Cylinder.


  • The leaderboards on Prospect Station will now properly indicate what game modes they’re referring to.
  • You will now get a notification informing you of your new rank after playing a Ranked match.
  • XP earned towards Prospector Levels will now be based on the amount of time spent in a match.


  • Career stats are back and should now work properly.
  • Fixed a bug in the Training Grounds that would only show Zeal Shards and Drones after 2 minutes.
  • Fixed a possible abuse with the Mag-Train contract: it is now impossible to use the brake to rack up Victory Points.
  • The loading wheel will not spin during the whole duration of the introduction video.
  • Fixed an issue that was impeding rotation in the shop item preview.
  • The comm wheel and ping function will now work as expected.
  • All players still missing a Ranked reward will now receive them correctly. All rewards will be sent automatically in the future.
  • Switching between ADS and hip-firing in the air will not cause an insane amount of spread anymore
  • Fixed several performance issues.
  • Fixed a few localisation issues.
  • Fixed a bug where players would appear online in the friends list even though they were offline.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from loading into Prospect Station.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing a crash when navigating through the Appearance menu.
  • Weapon Charms should now be correctly attached to weapons when starting a match.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent unlocking items from the Fortuna Pass when handing in story missions.
  • Prospector level rewards will now be shown properly after ending up foamed in a match.
  • Equipping a weapon skin or other cosmetic will now show the proper amount of uses left.
  • Daily/Weekly missions progress will now appear properly on the end of match screen.
  • Fixed a visual issue that would scramble the amount of points needed to earn VPs on some contracts.
  • Entering and leaving a match instantly will not count as progression towards challenges that require to finish matches.
  • Previewing a mod before purchasing it will now properly show the intended stat changes.
  • The “Reset Prospector” button will now work as intended.
  • Fixed an issue that would only show which game mode you’re currently queuing for to the Squad leader.
  • Banners will now be audible in Prospect Station.
  • Fixed an issue that would invite the wrong people to your squad.
  • Fixed an issue that would play the Boxer Charge Punch audio when using a standard melee attack.
  • Virtual Training should now display the proper map.
  • Fixed an issue that would display a negative amount of ammo for the Komrad. Rockets will now stay positive!
  • Fixed some interface issues when interacting with the map.
  • Weapon skins and charms will now display properly on your equipped weapons upon returning to Prospect Station.
  • Bikes will now be visible in Spectator mode. No, players weren’t being propelled by the power of imagination.
  • Fixed an issue where pinging the map while carrying a Zeal Shards would play the incorrect contextual voice line.
  • Alpha Wardens, Drones and inactive Laser Drills will now be perfectly pingable (let’s just pretend it’s a word).
  • Fixed an issue that would create clone of players in Prospect Station. For real this time.
  • Buying several Fortuna Pass levels at once will now only show one confirmation pop-up message.
  • Switching pistols in the Loadout menu will now show the correct weapon.
  • It is now impossible to interact with an egg when carrying one already.
  • Fixed an issue that would show an incorrect amount of Faction XP earned on the End of Match screen.


  • Career stats may not update quickly enough. Closing and opening the window should update them right away.
  • Career stats are not reset. Some data may be affected by the previous weeks.
  • Voice chat will not work in the lobby when using the open microphone setting. Push-to-talk will work just fine.


Please remember:

We are still in Early Access even though Season Three has started. The game is still in development. This means that bugs and crashes are to be expected.

If you find any issues during your session, please don’t hesitate to report it using the bug reporter tool in-game.

Please also keep in mind that queue times, especially late in the night might be longer than expected due to lower player count around these times.
