STORY MISSIONS FOR CRESCENT FALLS ARRIVED

Play the new Story Missions missions, delivered through your inbox and playable in Unranked Solo. Exciting rewards will be up for grabs if you follow the storyline of the Runaway.

  • Known issue: Mission 6: ‘Automate This’ – a drone will only spawn its data upload zone after you shoot it down.

WEAPONS & KIT CHANGES

ABILITIES

Snare Trap
Description changed to tell it only works works on hostiles now instead of prospectors.

KITS

All kits share the same regeneration values.

  • Health
    • Adjusted Regeneration rate to 120 per second
      • Delay before regeneration starts 8 seconds
  • Shield
    • Adjusted Regeneration rate to 50 per second
      • Delay before regeneration starts 6 seconds
  • Mods
    • Unequip time removed from Pistol Master kit mod.
    • In Air Armor mod now protects from radial damage as well.

WEAPONS

  • Karma-1
    • Increased ammo count from 1 to 2
      • Mods
        • The Splinter
          • Removes 1 ammo
  • Phasic Lancer
    • Increased reload time from 2.1 to 2.3
    • Reduced ammo amount from 30 to 24

          • Adds Weapon rate of fire decrease 15%

          • Adds Weapon rate of fire decrease 15%
  • ASP Flechette gun
    • Reload time from 1.3 to 1.5

        • Bundle Ejector 
          • Clip size from a set 10 magazine now takes 34% of the weapons clip. 
          • Increased the rate of fire decrease from 50% to 75%
  • Equip times
    Equip and unequip times of the heavy weapons now aligned to be the same.
  • Karla
    • Reduced equip time from 1 to 1.2 seconds
  • KARMA-1
    • Increased unequip time from 0.3 to 0.4 seconds
    • Increased equip time from 0.8 to 1.2 seconds
  • Ff4 Detonator
    • Increased unequip time 0.3 to 0.4 seconds
    • Increased equip time 0.9 to 1.2 seconds
  • ICA Guarantee
    • Increased unequip time from 0.3 to 0.4 seconds
    • Increased equip time from 1 to 1.2 seconds

AI CHANGES

  • Implemented new dodge animations for the AI.
  • The staggering of the AI has been tuned up (happens more often).
  • We increased the AI HP by ~15%.
  • The Spitter fires at a closer range.
  • Howler, Warden and Brute can knock the Prospectors back now.
  • A lot of visual updates for all the different kinds of beast AI that you encounter.
  • You might encounter Korolev Drones now.

CHAT IS BACK

After a long wait the chat and voice chat are back in the game. Please give us feedback on the integration of the chat and let us know what we could improve in that regard.

  • Chat is now available! Write on your local country channel or talk with global ones with other Prospectors!
  • Voice chat is now available! Chat with your squad or duo in the match and in the Station!

THE MASKED STRANGER RETURNS!

Prospectors who already visited Prospect Station during the pre-early Access days might remember this masked menace. The masked Stranger returns to take care of some unfinished business.

  • The Masked Stranger and the Mask Bundle are added to the shop. This will break the current weekly rotation, but rest assured, the current weekly rotation items will come back at some point. All the classic masks that you know and love (… or feared) are included with the Archetype, but you might want to go for something special, to make the Masked Stranger really stand out.
  • Even if you own the Masked Stranger this bundle shows as “compatible item not owned”. We are aware of this and are going to fix this visual bug in the future.
  • PLEASE NOTE: The Masks are ONLY for the Masked Stranger

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Ranked Mode will now be playable after you’ve reached Level 3 in any Faction.
  • AFK auto-kick is now in effect. If you remain idle in a match, you will get kicked back to the Station.
  • End of Match results will now be viewable after you are done spectating. Press [ SPACE ] to transition from spectator mode to match results.
  • Emergency teleport will be disabled once the final stage of The Cycle storm has begun to damage you.
  • Re-queue feature will stay toggled off. We’re actively working on an opt-in implementation of matchmaking from match result screen.
  • Challenges now show progress in the match more often. Stay up-to-date with the achievements.
  • Gear Store Crash Pod improvements
    • Fixed issue of model not showing up properly
    • UI icon no longer blocks the weapon
    • 2 second spawn protection for requesting player
  • SFX Iteration
    • PDW and Advocate improvements

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where charge punches did not hit other players in certain angles.
  • Fixed an issue where some weapons could still deal damage while “Protective Shell” is active.
  • Fixed an issue where the Karma-1 could be refired before the refire time finished.
  • Fixed an issue that turned heatmaps off.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Team Chat sometimes shows in the station, that is not intended.
  • Emotes don’t make sounds.
  • MK2 weapons are still called MK2 and this will be fixed in a future release.
  • ZEUS and KARLA can have issues with visuals in 3rd person.
  • If your name contains special characters it is not shown properly.
  • Items still lose their upgrades when dropped, we’re working to remedy this in the future!
  • When you die in a duo or squad match your team rank will not change until all of the players have either escaped or get foamed. We know that this can cause some confusion but the rank is shown at the end of the match will be the correct one.
  • If you are using a controller, please note: There is no full controller support, yet.
  • There are still some items that hover in the air while on a Laser Drill.
  • Destroyed Rides might have collision issues and or weird texture behavior.
  • If a lobby gets completely wiped the result screen might show wrong placements.
  • Some Challenges might have a wrong language, that will be fixed with the next release.
  • There are locations where Drop Pods might hover in the air.
  • Some of the Paladin Icons and items have minor display issues when equipped in the station.
  • Laser Drill still can have some texture issues.
  • Sometimes the boxes of your Ride can hover in the air.

Please remember:

Even though we are now in Early Access and Season Two has started, the game is still in development. This means that bugs and crashes are to be expected.

If you find any issues during your session, please don’t hesitate to report it using the bug reporter tool in-game.

Please also keep in mind that queue times, especially late in the night might be longer than expected due to lower player count around these times.
